About KerStitch Designs

The Artist

Kerrie lives with her cat in a small community near Port Colborne, Ontario. This is not very far from Niagara Falls, where she was born and raised.

Kerrie has always enjoyed both the arts and sciences. However, her university career in neuroscience was cut short by injuries she sustained in a car accident. To help her physical and spiritual wounds to heal, she taught herself cross stitching. After several years of honing her needlework skills, and expanding into other creative pursuits, Kerrie is ready to show her work to the world.

Kerrie is still working through many physical limitations and plans to offer a variety of items for sale as she works on what is most comfortable at the time. So, keep an eye on the web site because you never know what items will be posted next.

KerStitch Designs

KerStitch Designs offers a variety of quality products made by Kerrie E. Rusk with hand-picked items from other select artists.

We are an environmentally conscious company, using recycled and reused packaging and paper products when possible. We respect our customers as well by not selling your personal information to any third parties.

Products are created and stored in a smoke-free, cat-friendly home. Prices on this web site are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD), while photography products purchased directly from the KerStitch Designs on deviantArt site are in US dollars. Appropriate taxes will be added at the time of purchase.

Jewellery and Beaded Accessories

We will be offering a variety of items, from small dangle charms to necklaces and beaded eyeglass/badge holders. Tools for knitters and cross stitchers will also be available.

Much of Kerrie's jewellery is made with seed beads and semi-precious stones. These are often paired with Swarovski crystals and metals such as copper, sterling silver, Argentium® silver or gold-filled for a sophisticated look. However, other materials may be substituted for the budget conscious customer.

Photography

Photography and products showing Kerrie's images are available directly through her page at deviantArt: KerStitch Prints and Photography Products. Here you will find images taken from around the beautiful area where Kerrie lives. Her cat is very photogenic too.

You can purchase these images on prints up to 8"x12" and items such as postcards, mugs, magnets and coasters.

Needlework and Sewing

KerStitch Designs

The Needlework Designers of Canada currently has one design available by KerStitch Designs contained in their group project A Calendar in Stitches

In 2009, KerStitch Designs will be offering both needlework charts and small finished items done in a variety of stitching techniques or machine sewing.

Artwork

Artwork and other craft items will be available as Kerrie creates them. While Kerrie very much enjoys painting and drawing, these activites are the most difficult to work with her physical limitations. Look for things such as painted candle holders here. But don't hestitate too long if you see something you like, it's hard to tell when more will be offered.
